How do you make baked corned beef sandwiches?

I was at this party and one of the appetizers was these corned beef sandwiches they were two slices of bread corned beef and cheese cut in half and wrapped in foil and baked, I tried numerous times and they end up soggy or just not right. does anyone know what I'm talking about and maybe have the recipe?
