Now he's basically gone. Should I move on or stay?

Okay so me and my bf have been together for about 2 months now and well last weekend we were supposed to have a date and he had txted me and said that he was soo excited for Saturday and then after I txted him back, i never heard from him the rest of the day. So from there i didnt talk to him then or on Saturday and he wasnt where we were supposed to have our date.. and i felt like i got stood up. a few more days went on and i still nvr heard from him and neither had his best friend. come to find out yesterday that he got arrested and idk why. and he was supposed to get bailed out yesterday but i have still not heard from him. idk where he is or what even happened. what should i do. should i stay with him or breakup( thats hard to do when u cant get in touch with him) and i really think i love this guy. like i had never loved anyone till now. idk what to do. help plz. ten points for best answer??
