I really don't want to be ridiculed or called a few choice words when I ask this, but my problem is: I used to live in another state while in high school I was with "Jake" for 2 1/2 years. I move out of state to go to college. It has been almost 2 years since I left. The plan was to finish college and move back. It was an absolute joke, because the teams were scoring 18 runs an over, everyone was bowling spin and McCullum wasn't even wicketkeeping, but it was an interesting idea. I think it would also be good to add some of the rules used in the beach cricket tournament like having pairs of batters bat in two over blocks and having penalty runs instead of wickets. It will add more strategy to the game since the captain will have to pick who bats in each pair and the captain will have to pick who bowls at who.

How to fix the lagging audio of a converted AVI file?

Usually to save hard disk space I convert downloaded files from say a 640x400 resolution MPG, AVI or WMV to a 320x240 standard DIVX encoded AVI file and usually the conversion takes place without a hitch but sometimes the audio of some files just lag in a progressive manner, to say it's starts ok but loses sync as the video progresses so that by the time the video is finished the video and the audio are one mile away from each other! So what is the procedure to fix this. I do have VirtualDubMod and VirtualDub as well, so I have the tools but would like to know how to fix this particular type of audio lag using the programs I mentioned before. I know they are used for this stuff but not the correct way to use them to fix this so any help would be greatly appreciated Thank you! I've trird Skewing the audiot track dubbing and replacing it with Demux and nothing seems to do the trick! The Audio starts in perfect sync with the video but as it is been playback the audio slowly but surely lags behind so that by the time the video ends well as I said in relative terms to a race the video is at the finish line and thr audio is a quarter of a mile behind. Hi, I m currently in the underworld where all the ghouls live. I just bought Charon's contract from Ahzrukhal. I went to tell Charon and then as soon as I told him that he was mine now he said "really? Hold on a second, let me take care of something." He walked over to where Ahzrukhal was standing, I figured he would kill him, but then just stopped. Ahzrukhal then walked over behind his bar and stood still over there. Is the Lexus IS 250 C (the hard-top convertible) a dependable car? pros and cons?

The Lexus IS250c is a reliable vehicle however just like any other car their are advantages and disadvantages. The Lexus IS convertible is reminiscent to its DNA counterpart the Lexus IS250 sedan. Although both ride on almost the same platform the Lexus IS convertible is a lot more elongated at the rear which can be seen as a negative and positive. The long rear allows for excellent rear cargo room even with the top folded down however the long design of the trunk makes the car look very awkward in terms of design, at certain angles the vehicle doesn't seem "proportioned" like many reviewers have stated. The retractable hard top folds down in exactly 20 seconds which Lexus claims to be the quickest ever made however its very unfortunate that the same can not be said about the performance in the Lexus IS convertible. The Lexus IS250C has one of the most underpowered engines in the luxury convertible segment, with an engine producing only 204 HP the IS can only make up for its loss of power through design, and that alone is quite controversial itself. The IS350C has a 306 HP engine which is a lot better then its entry cl trim however the driving dynamics of the Lexus IS convertible doesn't come any where near the performance of its Rivals which include the BMW 3 series convertible and the Infiniti G37 Convertible. Although the ISC competes against other convertibles in this segment such as the Audi A5 and Mercedes E-cl convertibles its main competitors are BMW and Infiniti's hardtop convertibles. Although the ISC is priced way below its rivals at $40,390 its still lacks the performance and offerings of its rivals. The Infiniti G37 convertible and BMW 3 series convertible are both priced at $45,000 but with that in mind the G37 packs a standard 328 HP engine with a lot more standards then you would find in your entry cl Lexus ISC, in fact the G37 convertible is the fastest hardtop in terms of horsepower standard in the luxury segment. The G37 convertible is actually one of the few hardtops that have flawlessly executed design in terms of virtually keeping the exact same body structure as its DNA counterpart the Infiniti G37 coupe. The BMW 3 series convertible performs alot better then the ISC but in reality the Lexus ISC is equally if not a bit more equipped then the BMW 3 series only the 3 series cost a bit more. Personally my top two favorite hardtops are the Audi A5 and Infiniti G37 convertible however the Lexus ISC is a handsome convertible and although its lacks power its still has enough to offer its drivers in other aspects aside of performance.

Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD 9.0 post rendering audio lag help!?

I have Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD 9.0. I am editing the wedding I did with 2 different cameras. Everything turned out great. When I ran it through the Vegas program, everything was good. I rendered it and saved it to my hard drive in a .wma format. I double clicked and started to watch it. When it came time for the priest to talk, I saw that the audio was out of sync with the video. I read that maybe it was the format that it was in, so I tried a .mp4 format. Still audio was lagging. Another thing is, is that on some frames it was perfect, but 90% of the film, the audio is lagging. When i watched it with the Vegas program it worked fine. What caused the lag during rendering?

Can we get rid of mold on our own and not use a remediation company?

we manage an apt. building in los angeles. there is mold in one of the units. we don't have pics of her causing it but it is very suspicious that her kitchen sink was clogged at least 6 times in 3 months. professional plumbers were called on few occasions and found nothing wrong but said she needs to stop puttiny stuff in her disposal. the last time we fixed her drainage problem, we found that the pipes were loose! she is a seperate issue, lol. can we remove the mold ourselves as we know what to do or do we have to use a remediation company. we will get a mold test after to verify that the mold has been minimized.

I really look up to people like steve irwin and jeff corwin and been thinking about doing what they doing wildlife biology for college. I don't know what cles I should take though. I dated a guy who had two children...Yes it is very hard to adjust. The thing that was hard for me was the expectation that he put on me. He would leave me alone with them to watch and all sorts of things which was fine but would never say thank you or anything. It was expected. When they were around it was like I didn't exist but to just be there to help with the kids. The thing is that he did not see them all the time so when they came I was pushed to the side. You have to adjust just as much as she does. You have to understand that to her, you come first whereas with her she knows already that she is second. This is already hard. I love kids and got along with my boyfriends kids very well but me and him did not get along very well because he was the type to be like my kids come first and if you have a problem then leave. He never took the time to make me feel like a part of them. I was always this separate thing and you can't be like that. If you want it to work you have to include her and make her feel wanted! Even though the kids are around, she still should feel wanted!

I watched this Winnie the pooh DVD when I was a small kid, and I remember this really beautiful song. I don't know the name of it, but I can remember it plays in the movie when Tigger and Pooh try to build this thing (house I think) and piglet seems to be interfering everywhere, even when he wants to help. There was snow in the movie, and I remember 1 scene where piglet surfaces from the snow to surprise Tigger and Pooh, only to wreck their half- built something(cant remember) and the song plays in the surrounding( you know what I mean) I also remember the original video for the song. Lucid Dreaming Question!!?

I can't become aware during a dream, no matter how hard I try. I want to experience a true lucid dream. So I've been thinking, what if I become lucid while in the dream by sending myself an audio message? What I mean is, I record myself saying "Are you in a dream?" and set it up so that it plays in 15 minute intervals, and put it as a song on my ipod, lasting about 2 hours, so it plays 8 times. I'll go to sleep with my headphones in, make sure the volume isn't too loud to the point where I will wake up, but loud enough so that it can interlace with my dream. The idea is that the audio plays, i hear it in my dream, become confused by its abruptness, and then realize that i am in a dream because i placed the question in my subconscious. By placing the question in my subconscious, I can do dream tests, realize I'm in a dream, and become lucid. Its an idea which I don't believe is well doented, so I thought I'd ask you guys, maybe some of you know a thing or two about this kind of subject. PLEASE ANSWER!

I hate my life. Sometimes I think it would be easier for others if I hadn’t been born. I’m 14, I have two younger brothers who are 12 and 8 years old. My brothers are very immature. They constantly talk about es and eating our cats. The 8 year old was like, “We’ll have blahblahblah for the maincourse, and blahblah for the side, and blahblahblah for the appetizer..” and It’s disgusting. I know theyre not being serious, but it just repulsive me that they can just talk like that about other living things. Most of the times my parents ignore them, including this time ._. . They don’t disapline them AT ALL, especially the youngest. My brothers get in fights all of the time with each other. It used to be the 8 year old’s fault, but now the 12 year old is being a BAD ROLE MODEL for this younger brother. I don’t know how much more I can take of this. my parents have tried everything with the 8 year old… , time outs… but I guess they just gave up. So today, me and my brothers were picking out a Christmas movie, and we couldn’t agree on it. My brothers kept on arguing over how I moved a lot in my sleep, as I usually sleep on the couch with my youngest brother. They kept on blaming it on me like It was my fault. how is it my fault if im a sleep?? im not controlling what im doing when im sleeping. then they just started fighting and throwing things at each other. The youngest stuck a football between his legs, and pretended it was his p****. My parents did NOTHING to stop them, even after I told them what they were doing, and I had a cat sitting on me so I didn’t wanna get up. She didn’t lecture my brothers as much as she did to me, and she didn’t even start “lecturing” them until after she sent me up to my room… she still let my brothers watch a movie, but not me. What are your opinions on the character devolpment in Breaking Dawn? How they turned out?

I felt like EVERYONE was out of character. Especially Bella. She was the Bella we knew during the wedding, with her usual fears about her clumsiness, meeting Tanya, standing next to Edward, etc. But later, I felt I couldn't relate or understand her at all. I was suprised she called Rosalie too, I see how Rosalie would understand, but I think she should have called Alice instead, I mean Alice was her bestfriend, and Alice would have done what Rosalie did (which was defend her and the baby). I was disapointed with how little we got to hear about Jasper, Alice, Carlisle, and Esme. I could see Emment with those jokes though, I don't think that was too out of place. There were many disspointments, but I still loved the book. The only things that really really got to me were the name Renesmee (ew!), Jacob's POV, no fight scence, and minimal sweet moments with Edward and Bella. I loved when they were SWEET not HORNY, but I guess that's just a part of them 'growing' up.

I woke up Tuesday morning with a soar throat, congested head and slight fever (99). The fever was gone by Tuesday afternoon and has not come back. My throat feels ok during the day but it is soar when I first wake up. The past two days I have been coughing up yellowish-greenish phlegm. I don't feel too bad other than the coughing. Why do I wake up every night drenched in sweat?

I've been having problems with waking up in the middle of the night covered in sweat for no apparent reason. My boyfriend is the same way. I go to bed after him, but when I climb in, I have to take the covers off him because he is covered in sweat. We have the fan from the AC on all night as well as an oscillating fan and it's wintertime where we live, so why is this happening? I thought it was because we get hot in the middle of the night from the heat being turned on (by our apt complex) but I have tried sleeping in nothing just so I can hope that I don't wake up all covered but it hasn't been helping. How can I get over my fear of rapid heartbeat?

I suffer from panic attacks, and it's to the point where I can't do ANYTHING that causes my heart rate to go up. If it does, I will end up having a full blown panic attack because the symptoms feel similar to when I'm having an attack. I'm also afraid to eat or drink anything with sugar cause that can cause you heart rate to go up also. My main concern is how I'm afraid of rapid heartbeat. The reason I panic when my heart rate goes up due to running, lifting heavy things, or simply doing strenuous activities, is because I'm afraid of my already accelerated heart rate and the panic attack ontop of that to cause me to go into cardiac arrest or have a heart attack. I literally live my life trying not to do anything that will cause my heart rate to go up, and it's ruining me. Please help. And I don't want to take meds so there's no use in telling me to take some. And no use in telling me to work out either, cause that's the problem....

I have to buy atleast 4 gallons of milk. $50 a week in gas just to take my boys to school (don't qualify for free bussing). And Im fittin it to a Les Paul. Its a humbucker, fits n everything, just the wiring has got me confused as hell. The les has a white wire, and the other silver wire like all guitars do. The pickups got a white wire, a blue wire, a red wire, and a black. I wired the white to the white, and the silver to the silver, and taped off the rest of the wires with electrical tape. Now, I know the black is ground, but the other two, I dont know about. I get no sound from the pickup at all, and I know its solid cuz I just took a Semi Hollow pickup off of it that I just put on it (not a heavy enough sound). The reason I say this, and it's what you can tell him, is that guests have a very limited span for this sort of thing.
