T20 Cricket match (not tonights), new suggestion on a different format?
I remember watching New Zealand play a charity game against a World Eleven side. New Zealand bowled them out for 81 and ran down their total in 16 overs. To please the disappointed crowd because the game was so short, they played a ten over match with ten players bowling one over. It was an absolute joke, because the teams were scoring 18 runs an over, everyone was bowling spin and McCullum wasn't even wicketkeeping, but it was an interesting idea. I think it would also be good to add some of the rules used in the beach cricket tournament like having pairs of batters bat in two over blocks and having penalty runs instead of wickets. It will add more strategy to the game since the captain will have to pick who bats in each pair and the captain will have to pick who bowls at who.
