Please settle a bet for me: what implement caused Nancy Kerrigan's injury in the '94 Olympics?

I think it was a tire iron, my friend thinks it was a piece of lead pipe. Does anybody know for sure? Not trying to be morbid--it's just one of those things where we're both sure we're right. I'm very glad that Ms. Kerrigan made a satisfactory recovery. If anyone knows what was used in the ault, especially if you have evidence, please post back. I already tried a search in news archives, but I'm not very good at them. Thanks!
