Alrighty, Im havin problems installing this pickup. I got it offa strat type guitar....?

And Im fittin it to a Les Paul. Its a humbucker, fits n everything, just the wiring has got me confused as hell. The les has a white wire, and the other silver wire like all guitars do. The pickups got a white wire, a blue wire, a red wire, and a black. I wired the white to the white, and the silver to the silver, and taped off the rest of the wires with electrical tape. Now, I know the black is ground, but the other two, I dont know about. I get no sound from the pickup at all, and I know its solid cuz I just took a Semi Hollow pickup off of it that I just put on it (not a heavy enough sound). Somebody please help me here, Im gettin frusturated. I love my Les, and want it fixed.
