Will our small military be a problem eventually..?

what about when the middle east comes under control of a nuclear, fascist iranian gov't..?? or a combination of chinese, middle east...or chinese and russian..or any other combination of countries wanting to either militarily, or economically blackmail us or outright threaten us..??? what if there are several million communists at our doorstep..??? like what is happening right now in cuba, with china giving them aid and military supplies and china also controlling the panama c through a company whose owner is loyal to the communist cause..?? or the outright intimidation of islamic armies bent on either killing or converting the western world to their view or their dominance..??? shouldnt we have the biggest and most well trained and equipped army in the world in order to maintain peace...????
