Has the economy taken a toll on you and how!?

The economy has definitely taken a toll on my family, we are a family of six with four being my children. I have to buy atleast 4 gallons of milk. $50 a week in gas just to take my boys to school (don't qualify for free bussing). We have a large mortgage on our shoulders, and my wonderful husband is trying to keep a smile on for us and finds it harder and harder each day. Money is so tight, no way to know what tomorrow will bring. I envy those who laugh at this, and hopefully one day we will too. I pray the economy and inflation doesn't continue the way it is. I have done so many cut backs on bills and gotten rid of luxury like cable. I don't get to take the boys out, yet we are able to get to the library after school since it is on the way. Any uplifting words is welcomed. Taking all the kids on a vacation is something I'd like to do, but first I'd like to find balance in life. For my husband and I, and mostly right now for the boys!
