Squash beetles ruined my vines this year is there a way for me to kill next years hatching's now ?

Squash, melons and zucchini plants were ravaged this year. The understanding I have is that the eggs that hatched this year the bugs fall into the ground and hibernate until next spring waiting for me to plant vines for the buggers again. Well I want them dead so I need advice on stopping them.
