Mom thinks I'm a SPED?

I am applying to private school and she keeps saying "Oh you should apply to (insert SPED school name here)" and I ask her "Isn't that special Ed.?" and shes like "NO.Go look it up!" then the gets all angry. SO I go look it up an then its a SPED school. HOw can I make her realize IM NOT A RETARD?
